Transaction Failed for Protection Troubleshoot
Use this quick troubleshooting UI to identify why Venmo blocked your transaction and follow guided fixes. Nothing here connects to Venmo — it's a helper you can follow step-by-step.
Open Venmo → Me → Balance or Activity. If funding source or balance is low, add funds or switch to another card/bank.
Go to Settings → Identity Verification. If verification is pending, follow the prompts to upload ID and requested docs.
Review recent Activity. If anything looks unfamiliar, contact Venmo support and do not reattempt the same payment.
Switch to a linked bank account or another card and retry. If merchant requires card, use a debit card where possible.
